Ahead of his final game against Real Madrid on Sunday, a look at some of his highlights over the years in the famous fixture
LLUIS GENE1Time to say goodbyeSunday's Clasico clash against Real Madrid at Camp Nou will be Iniesta's last as he prepares to leave the Catalan club this summer. Providing he can shake off a knock, the midfielder will feature in the famous fixture for the 38th time. He has won 16, drawn nine and lost 12 so far and will be eager to sign off with one last victory against Barca's biggest rivals.AdvertisementGetty Images2Ovation from Real Madrid fans in 4-0 victoryIniesta scored with a superb strike, blasting home a right-footed shot into the top corner after he was set up by a Neymar back-heel. That was the third goal in a memorable 4-0 win for Luis Enrique's side and Andres (who also assisted one of the goals that night) was given a standing ovation from the Madrid fans after he was substituted in the 77th minute. Diego Maradona and Ronaldinho were the only previous Barca players to be afforded that honour at the Bernabeu.Getty3Another goal in 4-3 win in MadridIniesta scored again in a 4-3 win for Barcelona against Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabeu in 2013-14, smashing home with a left-footed shot after another perfect pass from Messi. The Argentine scored a hat-trick, including two penalties, as Tata Martino's men claimed victory in a seven-goal thriller.Getty4First Clasico goal and another trophyIniesta had to wait until his 21st Clasico to score in the famous fixture (in 2011). But like most of his goals, it was an important one as it helped Barcelona beat Real Madrid 3-2 in the Spanish Supercopa and lift the trophy after the two teams had drawn 2-2 in the first leg. Andres latched onto a pass from Messi and chipped the ball over international team-mate Iker Casillas to convert in a game that saw Cesc Fabregas make his debut and Jose Mourinho poke Barca assistant Tito Vilanova in the eye after the final whistle.
