West Ham have endured a tough start to the season after losing all four of their opening Premier League matches and the latest comments from one player have not pleased fans.

Full-back Ryan Fredericks has issued a call to arms ahead of this weekend’s clash with an unbeaten Everton side and assured fans that everybody in the squad wants to do their best for the club – but his words have not inspired fans.

Many pointed out that they would rather see the players perform than speak out ahead of games, while they questioned the wording of the summer signing as it did seem to suggest the squad is full of confidence.
