Journalist Graham Smyth has accused Leeds United of being ‘wasteful and sloppy’ in Saturday afternoon’s 2-1 loss at Fulham.
The Whites entered the clash at Craven Cottage looking to return to winning ways following the 3-3 draw against Cardiff City on December 14.
Leeds recovered from a 1-0 deficit to level through Patrick Bamford, who scored in the 54th minute from close range.

However, Josh Onomah netted Fulham’s second in the 69th minute as Marcelo Bielsa’s side suffered their fourth Championship loss of the campaign.
The Whites remain comfortably second in the table – nine points ahead of third-placed Fulham heading into the festive period.
It remains to be seen whether the defeat comes back to haunt Leeds, though, as they missed the chance to take advantage of West Bromwich Albion’s dropped points, with the leaders being held at home by Brentford.
Smyth, who is the chief football writer at The Yorkshire Evening Post, has claimed that Leeds were the ‘architects of their own downfall’ in the English capital.
