Ben Yedder had 16 goals and two assists this season, while USMNT star Folarin Balogun only found the net eight times, but boasted five assists. It was a down season for the American, after he found the back of the net 22 times for Reims last season while on loan from Arsenal. However, with the Frenchman now out of the picture, it could be his time to shine in France.
WHAT MONACO SAID
"Everyone knows Wissam's qualities, those of an exceptional striker, with an incredible sense of the game and goal. What he did on the pitch during these five seasons will remain in the history of the Club. We wish him the best for the future," a statement from Monaco read.
