Real Madrid lost 3-0 to PSG in their opening game of the Champions League group stages earlier this week.
Mundo Deportivo have already posted an update regarding Zinedine Zidane’s future after the defeat – stating that Florentino Perez, Los Blancos’ president, likes the prospect of Xabi Alonso leading his team after the Frenchman’s departure.
Needless to say, this idea of a brand new project with Alonso at the helm has many of the Madridistas divided.

Many of them seem to think Alonso is still far too inexperienced to take over at Santiago Bernabeu – the likes of Jose Mourinho and Mauricio Pochettino have been suggested as potential alternatives – while some would have anyone just as long as it’s not Zidane.
Then there’s the third group that doesn’t want to change coaches and would rather stick with their current one, despite a very mixed start to the season.
Of course, nothing is set in stone just yet and Zidane is very much still Galacticos manager.
