We asked Spurs fans if they would like to sign Monaco midfielder Youri Tielemans amidst reports that Thierry Henry is keen on bringing Mousa Dembele to the Stade Louis II and the response was overwhelmingly in favour.
Former Fulham man Dembele has looked a shadow of himself this season and has sustained a string of injury setbacks that, should he return from the latest of which on 13th January as expected, will have kept him out of action for a total of 82 days.
Lilywhites boss Mauricio Pochettino is surely keen to find a replacement for the 31-year-old, who is reportedly to lead an exodus in the new year as the north London outfit look to freshen up the squad, but should be equally concerned over the future of Christian Eriksen, whose contract expires in the summer.
We identified 21-year-old Tielemans as a potential replacement for either, depending how Poch is willing to use him, and suggested that the powers that be at White Hart Lane use Dembele as a makeweight in the deal – it turns out that a massive 81% of Spurs fans agreed.
