Tottenham Hotspur will take on Manchester United in the semi-finals of the FA Cup this weekend.

There is simply no downplaying the importance of the match as Spurs look to make the final of a competition which they have won on eight previous occasions.

Tottenham have not landed the FA Cup since 1991, however, and you do get the feeling that Mauricio Pochettino needs to lead the club to some silverware sooner rather than later.

The capital club will enter the match off the back of a 1-1 draw against Brighton & Hove Albion in the Premier League on Tuesday night, while United recorded a 2-0 win over Bournemouth 24 hours later.

Tottenham have had another impressive season, but they struggled at Wembley against Manchester City last time out, and it would be fair to say that some of their fans, who blasted Serge Aurier following the Brighton match, are fearing the worst this weekend.

That said, there are also plenty who believe that their team will have enough to overcome Jose Mourinho’s United outfit to march into the final, which will be against either Southampton or Chelsea.
