Tottenham Hotspur are bracing for a rather interesting January transfer window with none other than Jose Mourinho at the helm.
Of course, when you have the Special One at your club, you can most likely expect fireworks to happen. And it seems that Spurs could be heading exactly down that road since they have reportedly been monitoring Bayer Leverkusen’s prodigy, Kai Havertz.
That’s according to Sky Sports’ Lyall Thomas who claims that the London outfit were tracking him for quite some time but unfortunately for them, he is set to actually stay at his current home.
But that hasn’t really stopped the fans from dreaming as they were thrilled with the prospect of the young talent joining their club, practically begging for his signing and urging Mourinho to scoop him up.
Of course, some of them see Havertz as the ideal Christian Eriksen replacement considering that the Danish playmaker could still be on his way out of the club with his contract due to expire next summer.

And one fan even stated that Giovani Lo Celso should be binned and that they should go all-out to get the young talisman.
One thing is for sure, Havertz at Spurs seems rather exciting for many of them…
Still, it seems that regardless of their interest, Spurs are likely to miss out on the player, at least according to the aforementioned source.
But everything is possible in football and who knows, maybe Mourinho can still work some of his magic and bring the kid to London.
