Klopp had spent nine years at Anfield before announcing he would be leaving in the summer midway through last season. After such a lengthy spell in the dugout, it makes sense that he would prefer to take some time away from the game. The FA are said to be interested in appointing Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola, and have also been linked with Eddie Howe and Graham Potter.
